सर्कस,
देखा मैंने जंबो
हाथी
कूद रहे थे
बंदर,
दिखा रहे थे खेल शेर फिर,
दिखा रहे थे खेल शेर फिर,
झूम रहे थे
जोकर
जोकर ने फिर
नाच-नाचकर
ऐसी कूद लगाई,
हो गई सिट्टी-पिट्टी गुम यों,
जान गले में
आई।
फिर जोकर ने
ठुमक-ठुमककर
ऐसा खेल दिखाया,
मटक-मटक के
लोट-पोटकर
हमको खूब हंसाया
बंदर थे मनमौजी
इतने,
मचा रहे थे
शोर,
कभी खड़े हो,
कभी बैठकर,
घूमें चारों ओर।
